Jack Wallen, Jr.
It's been a long and wonderful journey for Jack to reclaim his geek roots. During this journey Jack accomplished and enjoyed a variety of careers and experiences. At any given point Jack was a professional actor (had you been in New York at the right time, you could have seen him on Broadway in the musical "The Great Gilly Hopkins"), a writer (look for his books on Amazon.com), a hair stylist, or a teacher. During those years Jack developed a skill for all things geek and began a wonderful relationship with the Linux operating system. This relationship brought another career to Jack – technical writing (look for his writings on techrepublic.com, linux.com, and ghacks.net). At the precise moment of first contact with the Linux command line Jack "GNU" he was a "Gnerd". To that end,
if [ ! Jack = nerd ] then echo Jack >> Louisville Geek.
So now Jack is a Louisville Geek and proud of it! And if you ask his wife (the ever-sexy Stephanie) she will emphatically agree.

Not completely satisfied with big business, Jim wanted to work with small business owners just starting out with their dream.

From there, Joe's interest in computers escalated. As a student in Trinity High's class of 2005, Joe volunteered with the school's network administrator in order to pursue his newfound passion. It didn't take long for him to figure out that working with computers was what he wanted to do for his career. With that in mind, he enrolled at Purdue University and began studying to become an IT professional. Joe graduated in 2010 with a BS in Information Technology and returned to his hometown to be close to his family. When Joe began working for Louisville Geek he knew he had landed his dream job: working for an IT company that caters to everyone on a personal level.
